KML Establishes Literary Marketing Practice

KARMA Media Labs, a Los Angeles-based social media marketing agency, has announced the launch of its Literary Marketing practice, a service that promotes authors and their literary work through social media marketing and publicity.

KARMA Media Labs is currently working with new authors Leslie Gornstein on her book The A List Playbook, currently for sale online and in stores, and Betsy Rosenfeld on her upcoming book The Complete Singles Guide to Being a Dog Owner.

“I chose to go with KARMA Media Labs because it's a new world.” Says Author Betsy Rosenfeld. “I needed an agency that was nimble and could seek out potential audiences where they live online… and the fact they have a rescued bulldog for a mascot doesn’t hurt either,” she laughs.

“We’re excited to be working with two such vibrant subject matter experts in helping build awareness of their books,” says Lori Dicker, EVP of Digital Marketing and Communications with KARMA Media Labs.

“As we have had more conversations with authors on a quest to market a successful book, we began to realize that this is a real challenge, but even bigger opportunity to leverage social media to promote the book, showcase content, reach target fans and elevate the profile of the author.” Dicker continues. “We’re excited to help them make a name for themselves in the literary world, because now is the time for word of mouth marketing - it’s engaging, it’s impactful, and it’s cost effective.”

KARMA Media Labs is a full service social media marketing and advisory agency, helping organizations and individuals build awareness around their brand, message or persona through Word of Mouth (WOM) marketing. The agency serves as a partner with their clients to drive visibility through innovative solutions including: digital marketing strategy, blogger and consumer outreach, digital and traditional publicity, creative development, media buying, mobile marketing and events.
